The story of Birslak began in 2020, when I purchased this little house – in a very different condition than it is today. After a year of dedicated work, it was transformed into the warm and comfortable guesthouse it is now, a place that has remained close to my heart ever since.
I was originally born in this charming little village, Makkoshotyka, and to me the Zemplén Mountains are the most beautiful place in the world. This is why I wanted to create a place where others can experience this unique atmosphere and enjoy peaceful relaxation in a tranquil environment.

In the everyday running of the guesthouse, my parents, László and Valika, provide their support, as I do not live here permanently. Most often, you will meet them upon arrival – they are the ones who make sure every guest feels truly at home.
